To help you in your page design some of the sites will have templates designed and setup in the Percy Intranet. These designs can be added to by the site administrators.
If you are creating a page from 'Blank' then you should ensure your structure works well both on full screen and mobile devices. Additionally here are some key recommendations when considering the structure of the page:
- Consider the impact of imagery in the title section and add a high quality image in this section
- Set up your layouts at the beginning and if you have text with an image use the One-third right column.
- It is not recommended to use the Full-width column in your layout unless you are focusing on imagery in your page design.
- Use multiple levels of layout to break the page up and have different areas focused on information.
- If you want to manage the layout in more detail then consider using the 'Divider' and 'Spacer' web parts within your sections.
