Use the Stock Price web part to display the current price of a certain stock.
NOTE: This webpart has been depreciated, but can still be used in your Percy
- If you're not in edit mode already, click 'Edit' at the top right of the page.
- Hover your mouse above or below an existing web part or under the title region and click the plus sign and then select the Stock Price web part.
- Click on the edit pen in the top left corner of the web part to configure it.
- The details pane will then appear on the right hand side. Providing the following options:
- API Key: For this webpart, we use Alpha Vantage free API service to provide the data. In order for this component to work, you will need an API key which can be gathered from this website: https://www.alphavantage.co/support/#api-key. Once you paste the key into the field, you will be able to retrieve the necessary data.
- Stock Symbol: This is the stock symbol for the company you want to display. e.g. Microsoft is "MSFT"
- To save your page, click on the "Save as draft" button in the top left corner.
- You should now see the stock price being displayed.
- When you are ready for your audience to see the page, click Publish.
